Locanda Rurale
in the north of Sardinia
15 minutes far from the beaches of the La Maddalena Archipelago, between the towns of Palau and San Pasquale, the Locanda Rurale B&B Lu Salconi awaits you.
Lu Salconi was an ancient Gallura farmhouse from 1926, owned by our family. Today the small rural estate takes its name from an ancient tradition.
Lu Salconi was an essential element for life in a “stazzo”, this kind of typical house; a niche made of wild juniper wood, inserted into the dry stone wall, which served to protect goats from the presence of foxes and other animals.
The house is surrounded by the green of the Mediterranean plants. Here you can enjoy the scent of myrtle, lavender and helichrysum, the huge landscape of granite sculpted by the wind, poetic silence and flavors of old and wise recipes.
Close to the towns of Santa Teresa di Gallura, Palau, Olbia and Arzachena, the location of Lu Salconi will allow you to easily reach the beautiful beaches of northern Sardinia and Costa Smeralda: Capo Testa, Valle della Luna and Valle dell’Erica and more the Bay of Porto Pollo – for those who love wind surfing and water sports.
If you want to spend a pleasant day at the seaside, you cannot miss out on an excursion among the islands of the National Park of La Maddalena archipelago, home to one of the most famous coves in the Mediterranean: the Pink Beach.
Intimate and family atmosphere, silence and tranquility will help make your stay in Lu Salconi special and unforgettable.
